Here is one of those moments where stupidity is a two way street.
The United States gave out a number of soccer balls to children in Afghanistan. The ball even contained images of flags from around the world, appealing to an international multicultural cause. Sounds like the feel-good story of the year, right? Well, it should have been, but since we live in a world of inflamed passions and insanity, such a thing could never be the case.
“Some displayed flags from countries all over the world, including Saudi Arabia, which features the shahada, one of the five pillars of Islam - the declaration of faith.
The words, which include the name of Allah, are revered, and Muslims are very sensitive about where and how they can be used.”
There are two stupid actors in this sad state of affairs:
1. I respect America’s effort to give something to kids that they want, and I think it was meant with the best of intentions. But with the foolish theocrats who now rule over the Muslim world foaming at the mouth anytime something is done that they "feel" offends Islam, someone in the State Department should have known better.
2. If you are such a religious idiot that you can not understand that having a flag on a soccer ball given to children is not a smack at your faith, well, screw you. Perhaps you should be offended by the injustices done in the name of your religion, and not a soccer ball.
Get a fucking clue.

Sensitivity, what? Some people made their sensitivity into an art form.
Sadly, you are right. Someone’s self indignant rage is now a justification for just about any complaint.
