Yep, idiots in Berkeley are still spending their energy fighting to save a couple trees on the UC Berkeley campus from being cut down. Sure, the school's plan's entail that more trees will be present on campus after this building project is complete than there are now. Sure, all of these trees were planted when the university was first built and are in no way “old growth”. That isn’t going to stop a bunch of brainless “do gooders” from making an issue out of absolutely nothing. Just another reason Berkeley is one of the most conservative cities in the country.

Idiots definitely would be fitting Snoopy! I classify them as conservative simply because they want absolutely nothing to change from the way they remember it in the 60s. Forget the fact that all the homes and apartments they live in were once wild land, we just want to preserve the earth as it was in 1968!
I lived in Berkeley in the mid 1970's. It was filled with incredibly egotistical people convinced firmly of their superiority. I have never seen such "self worship" in my life.
One of the most boring, offensive places I have ever been.
