Yep, that Tazer Incident

I think John Stewart put it best:

“The entire situation is a combination of police over reaction, and student douche-baggery.”

What else can I say? If you watch the entire video of this asshole at the University of Florida known as Andrew Meyer (who will here on be referred to as “the biggest douche in the universe”) you see that the guy was a complete idiot and one people cheered to have removed from the room. Some may question whether it was acceptable for a handful of security guards to tazer the moron, but I personally believe any officer of the law should not be forced to put their body on the line when it comes to disgruntled individuals like this. Regardless of what some leftists claim, the tazer is an acceptable tool to use when dealing with violent individuals.

Sadly, this moron likely has a career writing for the Daily Kos, and I almost expect him to show up on every news outlet that is looking to cash in on this dumb ass story. The guy thought he was going to be killed by the government for crying out loud (just watch the end of the video, it is rather enlightening…)! Just one crazy man who is getting his 15 minutes of fame.

I'm at the point where I wouldn't get rid of the Angry Far Left even if I had the power to, for the humor and smiles they provide us daily.

Some of the comments people left at the site are pretty funny too.

I must admit I only saw the clip that was posted on the Guardian's website; I wouldn't go as far as describing him as being violent. Disruptive yes, but not violent.

When I say violent, I mean that he was flailing about which could have easily hurt one of the security guards or someone else in the crowd. Violent may be too strong a term, but I find that people often accuse the police of using force at all to control people like this are wrong in assuming no damage can be done to an officer if they try to hold some single handedly. I do think when you start swinging around and struggling with the police, you are engaging in a type of violent struggle.

Dude got out of hand. Dude got tased. End of story...

The dude was/is clearly mentally unbalanced, and indeed a good material for Daily cossacks.

However, one question - four or more burly cops cannot handle a creep like this without resorting to hightech doodas? Strange...

Could that guy have been any more lame? The demonstration is dead as a political tool (except where the society is on total collapse, as in Eastern Europe 1989), as I've said.

I agree with snoopy, the taser was overkill but it's really hard to feel sorry for this individual. A response that's far more effective, and clever, is this fine piece of mixing. Get down!
