I think the biggest mistake George Bush ever made was recognising Kosovo. I don't doubt that Kosovars are a proud nation who deserve to have some form of autonomy - yet Bush knows very well that the KLA had links to Al Qaeda - and having such organisations in the heart of Europe is very VERY dangerous. Apart from that the newely independent Kosovo can hardly guarantee rights to the Serbian minority - who have already been intimidated.
I saw images of the most beautiful Orthodox Monastery in Northern Kosovo which has already been damaged!
