I did not have the patience to sit through the conversation. RA is right in that it is more convenient to have a transcript.

Any way just wanted to add that I think I read in an article by Fouad Ajami recently where he calls what Obama is trying to do as "The grand bargain" approach. I wondered whether this is how history books will characterize the Obama doctrine.

I don't see how this is better than a transcript. It takes a lot of time to get the ideas out.
